Mini GT shows a video of the Scania 770S's hooklift system in action at a 1:64 scale
Mini GT has launched a new video series, “Next on the Grid,” and chose one of the most unique models from its recent catalog for the first episode: the orange Scania 770S B8x4NA Hooklift Flatbed, part number MGT1392. In the video, Thomas, a member of the brand’s team, calmly demonstrates how the miniature’s hooklift system works.
The hooklift is a system that pulls the cargo platform up onto the chassis and lowers it back to the ground, commonly used on heavy-duty trucks. According to Mini GT, the idea originated in Finland in 1949, designed to add versatility to this type of vehicle. At a 1:64 scale, the brand has reproduced the articulation in a functional way, so you can operate the mechanism right on your shelf.
In addition to the mechanical features, the model stands out for its orange paint job with the Scania griffin emblazoned on the cab, the Swedish automaker’s classic emblem.
The MGT1392 is already available in the RA/AP. Collection catalog. You can add it to your collection or put it on your wish list directly from the model’s page.
